What are some good heavy metal bands that dont scream?

I love hard core metal but i hate the screaming. I want to understand what im listing to so any sugegestions to what bands i should listin to?

You may consider putting that question in a more relevant category than chemistry.

But I am partial to Metallica, Monster Magnet and Rammstein (although the later is considered industrial).

Why are people so stereotypical about metal music?

A lot of people think metal music is about committing suicide and worshiping the devil and stuff like that. Most of those people never listened to metal in their lives or love rap, rnb, pop, etc. They think that metal takes no talent. While rap, rnb, pop these days are all about the same thing. Love, sex, drugs, etc.

It spouts from ignorance. Pity them and rock on.
