Best memories … Best memories ever!! Saw these guys 3 times and they always put on a badass show!! They opened for Metallica, then for Anthrax, and saw them headline in Brooklyn. Too bad about Dave
we opened up for MC … we opened up for MC in OKC at the Velvet Underground around 1985? I thought they were awesome! After the release of “The Dark” we opened for them and Anthrax (Among the Living) in Wichita, KS We covered this song in our set in the Dallas years. Cannot remember the club or date ,but Phil Anselmo was there when we played. You’ll have to ask him about his review of our cover of it! David Wayne was an awesome singer and a hero of mine! Mark Wayne Mueller: Oliver Magnum

Aah, at last I … Aah, at last I realized what the part at 3:03 reminds me of — Iron Maiden has a pretty similar part in “Stranger in a Strange Land” (around 2:44 in their song).
Both albums came out in the same year, though, so it’s not likely that either had any influence on the other.
Great song… I … Great song… I lately listen to a radio station I found in the internet, I heard the song heard at least five times in that station…
Fun fact: they ripped off Dave Mustaine at 1:10 !
It’s the chord progression from Phantom Lord and This Was My Life:
E5 G5 F#5 F5
At least they knew from who they should rip off and they did it in such a good song!
