What are some suggestions for metal bands?

I’m really looking for not as known bands, but feel free to put popular bands to that I might not have heard of. I’m currenty in a stage of not being able to get enough of The Black Dahlia Murder, and also getting into Vader. I also especially like bands like LoG, Behemoth, Mastodon, Etc. I don’t want bands with plain, unoriginal vocals or music, but something a little melodic like TBDM would be good but not necessary. P.S. I hate Viking metal or whatever it’s called

    W.A.S.P, Saxons, Kix, Skid Row. They are kind of known but not as well as Metallica and such.

    you hate viking metal? huh? do you not like Vikings or something?

    anyway, look up Gojira, At the Gates, Opeth, and Strapping Young Lad.
    If you like Polish death metal (ie Behemoth, Vader), Decapitated is, in my opinion, the best.

    All That Remains, Trivium (some awesome thrash metal), Children of Bodom, August Burns Red, Haste the Day, As I Lay Dying, Diecast, Protest the Hero (mathcore shiz), Parkway Drive, Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet for my Valentine and Maximum the Hormone(J-rock ;P)
