The fact is, the song is not called ‘Death Metal Vicar’, it’s called ‘All About Easter’, and was recorded by Edward Frizzelle for the band ‘The Doyles’. There was never any suggestion at the time it was recorded that it was any other genre other than Ed’s own, nonsensical shouting.
Daveyboyz has been a member of The Doyles at some point, as have I, and we created dozens of humourous tracks in different styles…
