Do you think SlipKnoT can release a death metal or even black metal album?

Their second studio album, Iowa, has some similarities to death metal and black metal albums.
In your opinion, can they change their style to death/black metal?
They already have a keyboardist, Craig "133" Jones.
They’re not on hiatus, in fact, they’re releasing an album this year.

No because they’re have already created their on musical style. Playing death metal or black metal would just consider them a very indicisive band and would lack originality. and it should’t be used as a reason to attract or to appeal more to the metal community a band is identified by their sound and doing so will make them weak.

I have a bunch of friends who are like "Yah slipknot is the best metal band, there so hardcore" but i personally think that slipknot is poser and a bunch of wannabe goths trying to hard. who is right me or my friends.
p.s. i hate slipknot

The are just metal…simple…that’s all there is to it! They arn’t posers cause they have been like this from the start…..so hate them all you want..but your wrong! I aint even a huge fan of them either

Ideas for a room combining Buddha and Slipknot?

My friend Larry is moving to a new house, and he is stuck between decorating his new room like:

1. a Buddhist shrine

2. a Metal/Slipknot theme.

I’ve been racking my brain for ways he could pull off the Buddhist theme, but without having to give up his Slipknot posters. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Maybe he could divide the room, with one side a Slipknot theme, the other a Buddhist shrine.

Or have one corner of the room designated for the Buddhism (the shrine, the candles, the statue), and have the rest all Slipknot.
