Not all of them do. Slipknot certainly changed directions after their first big release, and people don’t like that. Also, and I’ve seen this first-hand, when I was in school, nobody liked slipknot. Most kids who wore slippy t-shirts were made fun of for it; now all those jerks where slipknot shirts and like all their music, especially that one song that they heard on the radio that they judge their entire catalog from.

People like things until they get too popular and becomes "fake," which is unfortunate for a lot of solid bands who have a lot of talent.

Plus, people are stupid. They go flying off the handle judging things by emotion before they put a lot of thought into it. I even find myself doing this sometimes; all you can do is step back a minute and look at the whole situation before you form your opinions.

Why METALLICA, SLIPKNOT or lots of famous metal bands never came to Hong Kong (read teh description)??!!!?
so they are REALLY famous back here. METALLICA and SLIPKNOT but i never seen them coming to HOng Kong? why? and will they? will they have any concerts in Hong KOng? and am i wrong

THEY ARE REAALLY FAMOUS HERE!!! Y DONT THEY COME?

I have no idea, like you said it’s Metallica and Slipknot, they go everywhere, they’re famous everywhere, they have fans everywhere, so why not go to Hong Kong? and the answer is I don’t know, it does seem weird though.

Iron Maiden IS the best metal band [my favorite band]
They’re my favorite band..
Metallica is in my top too but Slipknot?
C’mon man..
Anyway for me is Iron Maiden and Metallica. They’re not technically THE BEST but they’re my top 2 because they influenced a lot of newer bands. Also Slayer.
But there are many bands that not a lot of people know and are awesome.

Preferably the acoustic kind because i can’t get that song out of my head.

there aren’t many acoustic songs that are really metal/metalcore.
I’ve been trying so hard to think of some….
maybe some diecast, bleeding through has a ballady song I like Line In The Sand… not acoustic. but good.

Look more in the hard rock genre, that’s where I would classify that song anyway.
