What is a Death Metal band with real vampire type screams?

I want to find a Death Metal band with screams that sound like vampires… Sort of like Cradle Of Filth – Nemesis… I love the screams that occur in the song which sound like a vampire. I have heard of Theatres Des Vampires but do they scream? Well, anyway if you can give me a band that screams like vampires I would be impressed. Blessed Be!

Death metal is more low growling vocals, you’d be better trying black metal. What is the best guitar for melodic death metal?

I want to buy a new guitar.I am playing guitar in a group where we are playing melodic death metal (from groups like Amon Amarh, Arch Enemy, Children of Bodom, In Flames,Kalmah,At the Gates ) and black metal ( Behemoth and Dimmu Börgır). I need a good guitar to use in concerts and for recording. My budget is at most 1500 US dollars.

You can get a lot of guitar for that. Really depends on your personal preference for pickups. A lot of metal guys love active EMG’s, some like traditional dual passive humbuckers and some prefer a mix of single coil and humbuckers so they can have that cleaner sound if so desired. If I were you I’d do research into the differences on those 3 pup configurations and decide which you want. I’ll just list a few guitars you might want to check out. Don’t know if you want a certain style or not. Some metal guys just like a more aggressive looking axe.

The SG is just a good all around guitar and looks cool…not everyone and their brother plays one like Strats and LP’s.

I’m a big fan of Schecter’s. The SYN Custom is a cool guitar and the Hellraiser C1 has active EMG’s. I have the C1 Classic and love that guitar.
